The general condition of your dog's skin and coat are good indicators of its health.
Should I brush my dog?
Dog's coat needs to be brushed on a regular basis to eliminate any tangles, matts or burrs. Long-haired dogs should be brushed daily whereas brushing short-haired dog can be done only once or twice a week.
Make sure to brush all the hair and not just the topcoat. You may have to brush backward against the lay of the fur to remove dead hairs.
How often should I bath my dog?
Dogs rarely require a bath if there is no skin issue nor dirt to eliminate. However a good wash can be required if your dog's hair smells. Always use a dog shampoo like DOUXO® , specially formulated for your dog's skin pH and containing Phytosphingosine a pro-ceramide that will enhance the quality of its skin barrier.
